Connections
I've
been in the bed with her, her, and her
I've
been in the classroom with fellow college students, professors and distinguished
guests.
I've
been in the office with colleagues, clients, and the boss
I've
been in the district with interns, constituents, and the Congressman
I've
been on the street with him, her, and them
Ever
stop for a second and ask yourself about the connections we've all made in
life? It's quite simple and intricate at the same damn time, (I had, it was the
perfect moment for it) simply try this. Now your family members are the simple
part of it, some of the easiest connections you’ve made and have in life.
Friends from school, church, neighborhood, or work even they to fall into the
simple category. Now if you were to go through your cellphone and ask each of
your contacts to introduce you to one person, imagine the possibilities.
Would
some of them be the same person? Would you discover that you have other mutual
friends? Could you be meeting a future love? A future bestfriend, colleague,
employee, mentor, etc; the possibilities are virtually endless. Ever stop and think
of the connections you made; who have you talked to, met with, stood next to,
worked with. Ever stop and think of the connections you could make; who could
you be introduced to, who could be looking to meet you, or who you could share
a story with.
Ever stop for a second and ask
yourself about the connections we've all made in life?
